Will SEO Die?

This is a question that many people have been asking, and it's one that I've been thinking about a lot lately. I've been in the SEO field for almost 4 years, and I've seen a lot of changes in that time.

Personally, I don't think SEO is going to die anytime soon. However, I do think that it will change over time. The way people use search engines is changing, and SEO will need to adapt to those changes.

One of the biggest threats to SEO is the rise of large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT and BARD. These models can generate text and answer questions in a way that is indistinguishable from human-written text. They can also provide links to the source. This means that they could potentially replace search engines in the future, just as search engines replaced the yellow pages.

In the future, I think that SEO will need to focus on optimizing websites for LLMs. This means creating content that is informative, engaging, and LLM-friendly. It also means making sure that your website is easy to navigate and understand for search engines.

Another way that SEO will need to change is by expanding into new areas. In the past, SEO was focused on optimizing websites for search engines like Google. However, as people spend more time on other platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter, SEO will need to adapt to these new platforms.

Overall, I think that SEO is not going to die anytime soon. However, it will need to change in order to adapt to the changing landscape of search.
